Georgia May Jagger is the new face of Hudson Jeans

Category : fashion news

Sneak Peek : Hudson Jeans new ad campaign is rocking out with the 17 year old daughter of Jerry Hall and Mick Jagger, Georgia.

From the looks of the photos Hudson is about to step up the premium denim game.
“It’s all about her genes — literally and figuratively,”  said Advertising Executive David Lipman at the shoot in an East London studio. “It’s all about the heritage of having Mick Jagger as a dad and Jerry Hall as a mum. But more than anything, it’s her spirit that captivates me.”
Lipman noted that Jagger’s English and American lineage mirrors Hudson’s brand, which has a Union Jack logo. Among the campaign images are ones of Jagger wearing denim cutoffs and lounging on a Union Jack pillow or posing in ripped, bleached jeans against the background of an elegantly disheveled apartment, complete with beat-up leather armchairs and worn afghan rugs.
Having already conquered the already overcrowded premium jean market, Hudson with the funding from its new investors  plans to expand and focus more on its non traditional jeans ( such as a ripped pair modeled by Georgia) and also on their mens line.

Tips & Trends on how to accessorize: summer or winter

Category : Uncategorized

The key to dressing as chic or as cool ( as in this case) like a celebrity is to accessorize!!
The art of looking like a 10 no matter how bare the essentials.
Gisele, Nicole, Jessica they all do it.
6 inexpensive wardrobe upgrades
1. Leggings – because they go with everything from a T-Shirt to a dress. Can be worn in the summer and the winter.
2. Chanel Nail Polish - A quick upgrade thats so worth the price of the tiny bottle ( no one does quality nail polish like Chanel!)
3. Statement Jewelry – it can be a ring or it can be a necklace whatever it is, make sure that it stand out and is unique ( try shopping in older relatives closets or at Vintage stores)
4. Scarves – because they’re just practical. Keeps you warm and you can also wear them as headbands ( like Nicole Richie)
5. Sunglasses – every woman needs a ( a few) good pair of shades. Seeing the world through tinted glasses makes like so much more glamorous.
6.Hat - A straw just about goes with everything from jeans to dresses. And is an effortless chic for that bad hair day!

And the beat goes on: presently on my ipod

The power of music.

Last week we lost one of the world most talented artist and entertainer Michael Jackson – I was walking outside my apartment building when I noticed the headline from the newspaper in front of my neighbours door ” La mort de Michael Jackson” in big bold letter in the Le Figaro. I thought ” naw, no way!” must be some attention getter that leads you to a promotional article talking about his upcoming tour. By the 15 minutes it took me to walk to work, still in shock, I had to accept now what many people now know. May you rest in peace Michael. Your music is eternal, it makes me feel happy when I’m sad and brings back so many good memories from my childhood.

Thanks for the music!

And randomly here’s my list of songs presently on my ipod this week – as you can see its heavily MJ, but I also saw an ABBA documentary this week – and I LOVE ABBA! and I’m really feeling The Noisettes (her voice is like bitter sweet) check them out if you already haven’t heard them, they’re hot.

  • Bad – Michael Jackson
  • The way you make me feel – Michael Jackson
  • Beat it – Michael Jackson – Michael Jackson
  • Billy Jean – Michael Jackson
  • Blame it on the boogie – Michael Jackson
  • Take a change on me – ABBA
  • The winner takes it all – ABBA
  • Dancing Queen – ABBA
  • Welcome to my world – Lady Saw
  • Scratch your name – The Noisettes
  • Never forget you – The Noisettes
  • Blame it – Jamie Foxx Featuring T-Pain
  • Let it rock – Kevin Rudolf
  • Dalida – Laissez moi dancer
