The view from the window of The Kooples Paris in the Marais
I’m in a Smokie Robinson kinda mood lately. These photos were taken last Friday while Cruising around the Marais. Truth be told I went to grab a falafel and L’as Du Falafel was closed, so I just made use of my time while there and went to snapping with Cleo, my camera.

I was speaking of Stradivarius Paris in an earlier post, and I wanted to share some of their May Looks with you. It’s a cool way to get inspired, even if you don’t have a store located near you! Their styling is very fresh, fun and functional and many pieces could come from your wardrobe or other retailers. This seasons trends: bold prints, bight colors and sexy tropical prints.

I love the use of the polka dot blue and red scarf here, with stripe socks.
Another socks and sandal combo – would you wear socks and sandals?

Dual color block sandals comme Prada, gotta love it

Navajo prints and fringe bags – hippie chic anyone? Hey didn’t I see like a hundred people dressed like this at Coachella?
On saturday we took our son to the Park and he had the biggest temper tantrum I’ve ever seen. He didn’t want to walk, but he didn’t want to go in his stroller either. I wanted to be like Tamar Braxton* and send him to time-the-heck-out.com
I was like ” Listen, child, you are heavy, and mama has heels on!”…lol He wasn’t amused, so we ended up spending an additional 30 minutes in the park waiting on him to calm the you know what down.

Hoping you had an Amazing Easter weekend!
We had a long 3 day weekend here as we also had “Easter Monday” yesterday. I’ve been a total bum! Hence no weekend posts.
I think I’ve finally managed to have a tightly edited wardrobe for spring/summer. Everything I want to be out from storage is out and I’ve organized everything by category and color. Ya’ll, I’m so proud of myself!
I will post some photos later of what I wore.
Apart from spring cleaning (which literally took me all 3 days), I just ate a lot and watch old TV series and DVDs, , and went to the park a lot because the weather has been so nice and sunny here. Oh I’m also reading this great book by Andrea Levy called Small Island; the story is set in the 1940s after the war, with the focus on 2 families, one Jamaican, the other British. It’s wonderfully written and funny too.
Lets make the week a very productive one! and remember never stop dreaming because “All men who have achieved great things have been great dreamers” - Orison Swett Marden
