As I slowly (and I should note very lazily) get myself acquainted with my new Parisian life, Here are some pics I took recently around my hood. I’m kinda starting to like Paris, but my heart will always belong to NYC!!!

OMG OMG OMG…So last week I was loosing interest in high fashion, and this week I’m at the brim with excitement to see what’s going to be popping up on the Parisian catwalks! Like this Viktor and Rolf show where the models where hanging from light fixtures. Oh I love the craziness and drama. I’ll keep you updated with much more pictures and my reviews later. Right now I must run and get some work and errands done.
See you later or in true Parisian style, A tout a l’heure!

Thanks to my photographer friend (Thierry Chomel) for sending me this picture of Katie Holmes and Victoria Beckham at the Opening Party for the Giorgio Armani Avenue Montaigne boutique in Paris. Katie looks so grown up in this sleek velvet black suit. Victoria looks like a bobblehead doll right? But I must say that her cropped hair do is a lot better than when she was wearing those badly botched hairstyles of years past.
Anways, here are some looks from the show:

Sure, its haute and its not actully meant to be ripped right from the runway and ready to wear, but I can see some of these peices on the hollywood red carpet. The line is very classically elegant and shimmery. Perfect for a star studded night.
I saw my favorite coke fein(alleged) in one of these last year and it made me want one. Everything she wears does that to me; Damn you Kate Moss, Damn you (not really I love you darling!) I mean I seriously can’t get tired of her in all those ads and on the runway, and neither can a lot of people. Hmmmm, its like watching Lifestyles of the Rich and famous with Robin Leach. You remember that show? Anyway thats a whole other posting.
But it’s shown up recently on the other Hilton sister, and I really love how she wears it: nice clean cut skinny pants and a basic white tee. Hmmm, don’t you just love it when simplicity looks this good? Well, don’t be jealous, you too can have your very own “expensive” looking cropped leather jacket.
Like this one I found at Wilson’s Leather, isn’t it nice? Lambskin for only $129, I love the zip up front and you can also get it in off-white.
I think H&M had these similar leather jackets selling for around $80(can’t quite remember), but now it seem like you can only get them on ebay.
And this I found this Crocodile-embossed Leather Jacket a bit pricier at $1040. You can wear with or without the belt, and I love the chocolate brown color and the frog detail buttons.
Are they really? According to The New York Times Style Magazine, yes they are. Some of us might think this is “deja-vu”!I mean first it was the leggings, then ankle booties, then plaid, now Clip Ons! But i’ll be “crazy in love” with them.
I think its fun; when something old becomes new again, which is why I never throw anything out and love my Moms closet!!! Yippeee… All you gals can get a hold of some slip on like these at the stores, but i’ll be digging through Mommy’s Collection for free and grabbing dinner at the same time!

These will go well with some red lip gloss! And I find that studs show better with hair away from the face, so I’ll doing one of Paris Hilton’s favorite things, wearing a headband…wait, or maybe not as i think i’ll look too preppy: and thats not my flow at all. Try it and let me know how it works for you though.
