TooCute Picks of New York Fashion Week Fall 2007: The Good, The Bad And The Ugly

Category : fashion, new york

So these past two days I’ve had really mixed felling about the lines i’ve seen. So to get a perspective on how i feel i’ve created 3 categories to put some of the designers that had me awwwed, ohhed or jeeezzed aka good, bad and ugly.

The Good:
Malandrino: sweet floaty cuts little black dresses and punchy purples filled the catwalk.

Michael Kors:Showed classic american style and showed his love of fur.

The Bad:
Proenza Schouler: I was really let down as I was expecting looks with a “punch”, yes the intricated details were nice, I found many of the coats to be undesirable. Not the worst showing, but not really the best showing either.

Y:3 : I guess its as best as you can get when you pair a major sports brand with a fashion visionaire such as Yohji Yamamoto

The Ugly:
Heatherette: Alice in wonderland meets a night at Mr.Black is how I’d describe this seasons line. Ok, what part of this is ready to wear? Anyway I hear Macys now carry’s the line, one step for the partying mankind everywhere Macys is available.
