Parisian brand Surface to Air has made its mark in the apparel and accessories industry  with its contemporary fashion for men and women.

Not to mention they dish out killer heels every season.

Don’t believe me, take a look around almost every streetsyle blog and lookbook and you’ll soon see their classic Buckle Sandals “partout”.  For a brand that’s only been around since 2000, it’s already made some major waves.

Who needs marketing when you have a good product, right?!

I’m in love with their recent Editorial done by Surface to Air Brasil. Not only does it play with the  seasons “must-have” all denim look, it’s a juxtaposition of  the woman as a bad-ass in a “typical” male role!

I was blown away by the print ads from the new Burberry Campaign, so much so that I’ve now become obsessed with Jourdan Dunn and this 1500 Euros black leather jacket!

And I think this Ad has put the male model Sacha M’Baye on the models-to-watch radar for many people.

I shot this photo above while riding my bike around – its the ad used as a scaffolding for a building here in Paris overlooking La Seine river last week. I’m finally posting it, because I’ve since realized that Burberry also did a Video Lookbook. And it’s too cute not to share here.

The Rachel Roy Fall 2011 collection is like how you dress when you really get crazy with your layers in the cold. I love that its a bit anti-fashion, the clash of mixed fabrics, patterns and prints.

This blue crochet dress shall be mine! Rachel Roy was pushing the daisies a bit with this season and I think the color bock of purple and sky blue are risky but when paired with a crochet chanel-esque blazer it says that you’re a definite risk taker with style.

Below the hem skirts and dresses – just like I love it. I have really long limbs but sometime I feel ridiculous in a mini. This makes me all grown up.

Rachel Roy Lookbook Video is so fabulous I got chills just watching it.

Tapered pants, over-sized sweaters and cardigans, tailored jackets and coats. At the Mercedes Benz Fashion Week, the Fall 2011 DKNY collection was all about showing clothes that were  actually ”ready to wear”.

You can depend on Donna Karen to shift us back to functionality and reality, in a time  when many designers are creating winter collections that could mirror those of spring/summer.

Because I really love the new DNKY Fall 2011 collection and was inspired to create a mood board with looks we can wear right away, either from items already in our closet, or from more accessible stores like Asos and Zara.

You know, take the look from the runway to the real-way.

Claudie Pierlot is a Parisian ready to wear line that focuses on dressing Parisian women with a minimalist style.

Claudie Pierlot started the company herself in 1984 and today the company now belongs to the Maje and Sandro group bought in 2009, the same year she passed away.

The essential piece to any working girl wardrobe is a power suit, you ether start out with one ( for the interview) or you wear one frequently ( for the daily meeting), but all you really need is one well made yet totally comfortable suit that just means business. 

Lounging is about comfort but that doesn’t mean you can’t look good while doing it – Parisian women have yet to embrace the Juicy Couture styled velor suits,when its time to lounge around, instead they rely on french classics such as the sailor top – this on one is an updated version in red.

Cardigans are a most. Chunky knit cardigans made of wool can be your best friend in times of bracing the cold.  A cream colored one such as this one goes easily with many things and perfect for everyday wear.

A well tailored black cut should be a staple in any woman’s wardrobe, if you can only have one this should be it, and the fit should be perfect.
