Suzie Bubble on Refinery 29!!- Hotness!!

Category : Fashion Favorites

Ok, so any self respecting fashion blogger will no doubt have the UK fashion blog Style Bubble blogrolled on their blog and even secretly wishing they could be as fierce, daring and still oh-so fashionably cool as Suzie Bubble.

Well, what have I just received in my Refinery 29 e-newsletter? None other than Miss Suzie Petewty telling it like it is. I heart Suzie! Suzie if you’re reading this let me know when you’re changing out your wardrobe, I’ll be the chick dumpster-diving through your garbage out front.

Kate Moss debuts at Topshop

Category : Uncategorized

Ok, so I’ve been looking at the stuff Mme.Moss has with the top high street retailer Topshop, andd Hot Damn!, most of the stuff are actually quite cool. Well, I haven’t tried anything yet, but they look pretty hot. Yes, there were a few misses( but they were just that, very few). Most of the entire line can be summed up to what you’d expect from the british trendsetter:
There was colored denim, cropped skinny jeans, tiny short shorts, and of course her signature Hippie chic look via her long gown and simple skirts, with many in the latest shinny and metallic fabrics.

Here’s some of the stuff I think are worth grabbing before they’re gone and then you’ll only get it on ebay.

Oh, shopping the topshop online? You can only buy one of each item, and a max of five items( you know to be considerate to the other shoppers) so shop wisely.

Belinda Eaton does Fashionable Art

Category : Uncategorized

I love Belinda Eatons work because it’s so rich. I know this sounds so trite to say about the work of an artist because it’s been said so many times before, but its true. I mostly love it though because the people, especially the women wear pretty clothes. They’re like nice fashion ads, but in painting. She does a lot of shows in London, but I think from time to time you’ll find her in art shows all over like NYC and Cannes.

I’ll be trying to understand the more complex pieces, after I stop ohh-ing and aww-ing over stuff like the heels in this painting…
Girl with Tatoo

Girl with Oysters – Looks like it could be a Gucci ad with Coco Rocha or that kid from Gilmore Girls, Alexis Bledel,

Two Girl
Is this a friendship like Oprah and Gail’s? Are they lovers, or just good friends? Who cares they look hot!

The other more conceptual stuff, I simply don’t get, like this one called Women In Artichoke…alas because I feel it my intellectual duty to challenge myself (conscious form a expensive education), I shall be doing some more research as my interest in her work is way above normal, more than what I have for many clothes I only wear once.

London Fashion Week Sucks

Category : fashion week

Really!! Where’s all the glitz, after parties, celebrities in the front row, and most importantly where are the designs that will make people come calling to London? Most of the designs I saw seemed more old and tired than new and regal.
I was trying to find something to write about the “ugly” sister of shows. But oh heck, why bother waste space? Maybe when it’s all done i’ll do a round up, because I havent been impressed with what i’ve seen so far.
More later….
