Oh My Gawwwd ( big gasp)! I can’t believe it, I personally loved their lil shop in the Meatpacking District and their pioneer online store was not only fabulous but had a great selection and focus on emerging designers.

WWD Reports :
“After almost 10 years in business, Internet pioneer Girlshop is shutting down, a victim of the popular formula it helped create.

Founder Laura Eisman said her two-year-old brick-and-mortar store in the Meatpacking District could have stayed open, but challenges to the online business dragged it under.”

I will definitely miss them, let me know your thoughts on the closure by using my poll below.

* I got these bad babies from a guy at Mavi a while ago and I have about twenty pairs of Skinnys and I wear this one, specifically, all the time. Dress em up with some boots, or down with some cute flats!

*Cheap Monday( $65)
Ah they are cheap but I found the fit kinda weird because the front was sorta baggy, so be careful of buying online, I’d go to Opening Ceremony ( if you’re in NYC), and check out all the other cute-ness they have stashed.
