I SPY: WOMENS JACKET/BLAZER WITH CREST TREND

I’ve been running into a lot of navy inspired blazers and jackets with crest on them that I just had to do a post on it.
Next trend for fall maybe?
Je sais pas, but take a look and let me know what you think. Its a little bit 70′s preppy and I love it because all you rally need to rock this look are your favorite pair of jeans and a basic top, and maybe a little accessories such as a gold necklace or silk scarf (oh and thats another thing, scarves also seem to be big for next season, so says L’Officiel Magazine Paris – will try to scan a few pages – but scarves like the one on the Ralph Lauren Model were everywhere on the runways from Dolce and Gabbana, Paul Smith to Isabel Marant.

who also does a great job on telling us how to get the above look as  ”Do-it-yourself” project.
I’m loving everything in this look, the high wasted pants, the leather clutch, the really simple cotton top.

Trend Alert: Distressed Denim for Fall

Faded, distressed, ripped, destroyed, and tapered are the new crop of denim pants swinging on the legs of celebrities such as Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Katie Holmes.
Denim is a staple in almost any girls wardrobe;dress them up with some platform gladiators or dress them down with sneakers or ballet flats.

I think this fall we’ll be seeing many classic tailored styles (as was evident from the last fashion weeks shows), but the jeans will remains a staple piece.

Following the popularity of the denim cut off shorts trend going on right now( ie look at Rachel Bilson, Ashley Olsen and Hilary Duffy, plus the loads of fashion bloggers who are not shy to show us their daily wear – shout out to Rumi at Fashiontoast who almost has a denim short fetish bigger than Kate Moss’)

On many occasions I’ve envied her wardrobe, but I wouldn’t be able to pull it off. I must admit that I’ve never felt comfortable in really short shorts, I have really long legs( which where the subject of many childhood scuffles and besides I think they just work to lengthen your legs, which eventually makes me look like a giraffe tumbling over.

I’m already seeing loads of my fellow Parisians rocking faded denim ( can’t wait to get my camera back from Canon, to show you some pictures).

My Trend Forcast says faded jeans just like open toe booties wont be practical for fall/winter, but they’ll be all over the place.

Here are some options that, as usual, wont have you breaking the bank.
Do you think you’ll be falling into the GAP( hehehe) for this denim trend?

I Spy: acid wash jeans trend

whats that saying we are always hearing time and time again in fashion? “Everything old is new again” What can I say I’m a sucker for a sale and I almost bought myself a pair of acid skinnys at this cheapy chain store here called Jennyfer. Looking back at it now, I’m in fashion regret.

Herve Leger dresses are the next best thing since…?

So recently I think I’ve been seeing every celebrity wearing a Herve Leger “bandage”dress. I think it was Rachel Bilson I saw recently that wore it the best, to the Max Azaria show! So simple and chic. I’m wondering how expensive they are, and are the next “it dress” on the fashion scene? I esp love the way they can hug curves, so If you’re a full bodied girl like Beyonce, or Alicia Keys the Herve Leger dress fits any figure.

Fashion Trend: Fringe Benefits

Fringe seems to be all over the place this spring/summer. The trend has been bubbling under the fashion surface and is ready to rise to the top. Here are some of my picks.
oh and be sure to check out my blogging buddies to see how they wear their fringe:
