How to wear this seasons flower trend
70’s inspired florals are popping up in every store this season from Zara, Topshop and H&M. The latter has even created a special selection for spring called the Garden Collection. (See below) Many of their pieces are reasonably priced and can be worn around town or out for a dinner date.

Also, lets not forget that Balenciaga did it two seasons ago on the runway -

Shopping tips:
If you’re wary of trends like these, or just want to try something floral with out going overboard here are five super easy pieces that can spice up your look and remix your spring wardrobe – all under $50. You know, so we can have more money left over for the other trend – Military ( post soon to come)!

American Rag – Sleeveless Floral Print Dress

1. Be&D Genesis
We saw the Be&D Garbo back in the day, now give way to the Be&D Genesis bags all over New York Fashion Week. Drama Fashion blogger Bryan Boy had one and so did Olivia Palermo.
Things to know about Be&D – They now make shoes!

2. Chloe Marcie Handbag
Rachel Bilson has been strutting around to casting calls in LA with her new BFB – BEST FAB BAG – the Marcie by Chloe.

3. Mulberry Alexa Handbag
The Mulberry Sachtle has been made famous by MTV VJ Alexa Chung, for goodness sake she has shoes and now bags named after her. I tihnk the thing we love most about Alexa is that she wear what she likes and makes her comfortable and that shines through as being real and confident – even if its a vintage $10 dress with a $1000 handbag.

4. Rebeca Minkof Morning After Handbag
Rebeca Minkof has a knack for embellishing bags that makes a statement to any ordinary pair of jeans and t-shirt outfit. No wonder she’s a steady staple to the jet setting stars that carry her purses – but with prices that normal folks like you and I can afford.

5. Alexander Wang Coco Handbag
Now if theres ever a bag thats flying off the shelves this spring/summer its the COCO – the ultimate cool bag for 2010. So hot that people are searching hard to buy even the fake Alexander Wang! Rihanna , Mary Kate, Ashlye Tisdale are just some of the people who’ve been spotted….the Coco has an hard rock and roll edge that many can get with for an everyday bag.

Whats your favorite it bag for 2010, is it one thats not on the list?
Who let the clogs out??
Clogs are coming back in style. We all know that everything Alexa Chung wears immediately becomes a trend or sells out – case in point those Acne Atacomas.
Now here she is wearing a Chanel Clog siting with 14 year old blogger Tavi in front row.
Are you ready to rock the trend? You be the judge.

Topshop has just introduced a line of Parkas to their new collection – I’ve been seeing many women wearing their Parkas quite stylishly here in Paris – I bought mine at H&M and I wear it when I’m dressed up or down. It Just works – keeps me warm and it matches my green YSL bag

Parkas – the traditional unstylish utilitarian outerwear are making a huge comeback. Look out for them in 2010…
