Urban Outfitters Interviews Street Etiquette

Category : introducing, streetstyle

Street Etiquette is Joshua Kissi and Travis Gumbs, two guys from the Bronx that chronicles their journey in style via their blog online.

Here’s a snippet form the interview by Urban Outfitters:

Your blog seems like it’s got that crossover mentality, which makes it super unique.

Joshua: We’re telling a story. A story that’s been told before, but we’re telling it from our perspective—two guys from the Bronx perspective. So if we’re wearing a tweed coat, I mean people have been wearing tweed coats for centuries, but the way we’re wearing it is different…

Good looking guys with style are always a pleasure to look at, no wonder the popularity of their blog!

Oh c’est beau – Derek Lam Nadia Handbag

Category : introducing

We’re always going gaga overDerek lam Nadia fashion accessories and w’re presently loving the Derek Lam Handbag for its sheer simplicity and beauty.

The Nadia Leather Hobo, is a very clean and crisply designed brown leather hobo fit to wear to work, or for everyday running around. It’s not as loosely structured as many other hobos or carry -alls so it goes perfectly with an office attire, without sacrificing style.

The quality of the leather looks like it will just last forever, which makes sense because at $1,250.00 (at Saks) it should be one of those investment handbags you don’t look back on, not even if you have to move back in with your parents for missing the rent – at least you can look back and say it’s worth it, right?

Introducing: Rachel Rachel Roy

Category : introducing, new york

I’ve always loved Rachel Roy’s fresh take on feminity and wearabilty -

but for many of us we could only pass by the store window, stare in a
daydreaming kind of way, maybe go inside and try something on but then
leave without it

because it was aam… A bit outside of our financial realm.

Luckly for us the folks over at Rachel Roy heard us loud and clear!

We essentially told them look we love you but we can’t afford you,
bring your prices down to where we can still pay the rent at the end
of the month and we’re in business.

So they haven’t exactly brought prices down on the parent line Rachel
Roy- but they’ve done even better.

following in the footsteps of top designers like Marc Jacobs, the
company’s new sister line Rachel Rachel Roy is less expensive even
more wearable, trendy and full of energy!

I’m lovin it.
It’s only at Macys.

Introducing: Chicisimo dishes up daily street style inspiration

Personal Style Photos

Have you guys heard of Chicisimo?

Maybe I’m the only one that’s not on this site. I found some of the fashion worlds biggest bloggers like Sea Of Shoes, and even some pretty cool inspirational ones from all over the world I’ve never even heard of.

it’s a snapshot of world fashion trends, one street and wardrobe at a time.

It’s to addictive, but in a good way ( like polyvore) its like having all your favorite blogs in one place, but with a heavy focus on outfits and the details in the outfits, that answers our question when we look at a picture we want to imitate ” where did she get that?”…

Take a peep, check it out, it will help you spice up your wardrobe and give you ideas of how to wear the stuff you already have.

What I do, is find someone that has similar features to me ( like height, hair and color) and look at the stuff they wear, because if it suits them I’m more confident that i can get away with that look too. Its no art, and that might be a ridiculous thing to do, but oh well. :)

Want to be a part of chicisimo? Here is how.

Introducing: Tom Binns

Category : introducing

Irish born jewelry designer Tom Binns has a knack for making jewelry that is bold or subtle with a lot of attitude ( he’s worked with Vivian Westwood!).

I found him checking out Shopbop.com’s newest arrivals. I fell in love with his Pin earrings, and that was enough to have me trying to find some of his other works of jewelry.

Would you buy his pieces?

Here are some of his pieces that are just too cute not to highlight.

Effleurer Cuff

Classic Gold Safety Pin Earrings

Classic Tiny Spiral Studs
