bits and pieces

My Birthday Suit

We went to our favorite Sunday brunch restaurant, Le Pavilion, it’s always quiet and the brunch is what I like to call “hearty” in a very British style, Hash browns,Bacons and all.

My hubby got the traditional brunch. I however, considering my new nutritional decisions took the Soja Burger and it’s was delicious as it looks.

Pierre was busy doing the usual playing sleep in the sofa and/or searching for my breast (I swear he has got this thing for caressing my breast when he’s sleepy, probably has something to do with the fact that he was breastfed until he was 1yr old).

Anyways, this is what I wore on my birthday/earth-day, my new Pierre Hardy heels!

I bought them a while back with my friend Kristina, and finally got the courage and occasion.

No I’m not lucky, I’m blessed, yes!

It’s my Birthday!

"No I'm not lucky, I'm blessed, yes!" - Moment For Life, Nicki M

I spent the day with my Mr. Big and our son.  The night before was spent
stuffing my face my raviolis and tiramisu with Franziska and Gulcan then
meeting up Anna at Chez Jeanette where her friend was Djing.

I finally wore that dress I posted about here, even though I kept wanting to
change because it seemed so short and tight. My hubby reassured me (& my paranoia)
by telling me it was just fine.

So, after squeezing ourselves inside, we managed to form a small congregation

around the Dj Table.  I heard two girls say disappointingly,  on entering

“This is a lesbian bar”, I was like “no its not”, but then I remembered that I did get

hit on by a woman and I said “there are “some” lesbians here, but I’d say there’s a 50/50

ratio including straight people”.

They looked at us, laughed and on their way out said “have a good time in your

NON-lesbian bar”.

I said “sure!” “See you girls back here next week?”

It was a fun night!

Anyways, as I digress, another year stronger, wiser, better and fitter.

And I will be quoting more Nicki Minaj this year.
Thank you to all of you who love & support me and are a part
of my life-long glee club.

Let’s Hear it for the Girls!

Last night was Girls Night Out. Let me just say thank God for good food &  good company!

I started off with an Apple Martini ( couldn’t resist), worked my way through a Spinach Ravioli in foie gras sauce with dried figs and ended the night with a belly full of laughs. It was divine.

Thanks to Kristina, Sandie, Saskia, Nawel and Melanie.

Of course, I couldn’t help being the annoying one always taking photos. Oh, I love my new Nikon D3000 – I swear it’s like DSLR for Dummies!
