Crystal is like the Martha Stewart to the fashion world. She has been featured in Essence magazine and recently hailed in Teen Vogue as the “Queen of Cookies”.

The young beauty decided to follow her artistic passion and start her own company, Tasty Morsels Bakery, after working for a high-profile French fashion company.

Garnier Fructis Pop-up store Paris - The Marais

16 Rue des Archives, Paris.
This appointment only salon is the first of its kind I’ve seen in Paris.

The store will only be “live” until Monday. But it gives Parisians and visitors alike the opportunity to discover all the Garnier hair products and get one-on-one advice from a Certified Beauty consultants on the products that are best suited for your hair-type.

This could possibly be a new trend by Cosmetics and Beauty companies to create stand-alone Brick and Mortar brand stores to introduce new products and also get direct contact with their present and future clients.

A very good marketing move.  Hopefully we’ll see more of these Beauty Pop-Up stores.

This morning I was so excited to be flipping through my October issue of Lucky Magazine when I saw tons of ads for various mascara brands.

Now I’m not a make-up junkie or beauty expert which is exactly why I’ve tried almost every single mascara known to man – sorry woman.  I’ve finally settled on the YSL, its my absolute favorite – and it cover my short eyelash complex.

I still however wear my store brand – Bourjours - sometimes as it give me very thick lashes too.
