Well if it seems like every other page you turn in you magazine there’s a picture of Kate Moss you’re probably right. Next to Giselle this girl gets more bang for (a fashion magazine) book!
Madame Kate at the ripe ole age of 36 is doing what many top models, who’ve retired by this point, wish they could, work.
As the new face of chic Parisian label Isabel Marant, Kate brings the face to a Parisian favorite brand that has a cult like following of celebrities. Lets not even get into figures but that kind of marketing move doesn’t come cheap! * I mean they did call in the heavyweight, the big dog.

Kate Moss for Isabel Marant
I absolutely love the simplicity of the black and white ads, but my only concern is advertising clutter and brand dilution.
Kate is a well known and used face , Isabel Marant to many isn’t an internationally well known brand. Combined with the fact that she’s already doing ads for Longchamp , YSL, Balmain, Topshop and now Just Cavalli isn’t the chances of Isabel Marant getting lost in the Ad clutter is high? Especially in jam-packed mags where after seeing one Kate you’ve basically seen them all.
Or is it that we can never tire of Kate and that she can bring Isabel Marant exactly what they want, more visibility?

For the last two years print magazine are dying either from lack of readership, ad revenues or both, take examples like Domino, Business 2.o and Missbehave.
But I’ve got good news for all you mg hags – our favorite print mags are fighting back! Or at least trying to.
Word from the grapevine is that :
“with a drop over 25% in ad revenue from print magazines last year, a group of prominent magazine publishers including Time Inc.,Hearst, Conde Nast, Meredith and Wenner Media are launching a jointly-funded $90 million dollar ad campaign to help convince readers, advertisers and shareholders of the “power of print.” The 7-month campaign, developed with Y&R New York, is expected to roll out with lush color spreads in the May issues of nearly 100 print magazines and web sites with taglines such as “We Surf the Internet. We Swim in Magazines” and “Will the Internet Kill Magazines? Did Instant Coffee Kill Coffee?”
Well, well…we’ll see how that goes.
Fashion photo-blogger Garance Dore has done it again – after her collabo with Gap last year the French Grande Dame is leaving an imprint everywhere with her ”fierce” yet simple sketches. This time with glasses maker Krys for their KISS collection.
Krys wanted to reach out to a younger hip audience for its new line and Garance designed shopping bags to be offered with the purchase of a pair of glasses.
Oh Garance – Don’t Stop!

We all know Emma Watson from the Harry Potter series but the young lady has been a force to reckon with off screen as she captivates the red carpet in some of the most stunning gowns.
This fall she’s starting in a feature of another kind, an Ad for british design house Burberry, shot by who else but Mario Testino.
Just incase you guys missed it.
