Real vs Deal: YSL Imperiale & Dolce Vita April pumps

Category : Uncategorized

YSL Imperiale

Who knew there was a fake YSL Imperiale made by Dolce Vita?

The YSL Imperiale has been one of the “it” heels of 2009 on the feet of many celebrity from Katy Perry to Lady GaGa. It’s unique wedge + platform like heel has found a soft spot with many bloggers too.

The YSLs are now on sale almost everywhere, but if the price tag is still a bit over your budget – I’ve found that Dolce Vita does a nice impersonation (knock off) of the pumps with their “April” Platform pumps – and for only a fraction of the price of the YSL Imperiale.

What do you think?

YSL Imperiale $795 at Saks
Dolce Vita April Pumps $180 at Shopbop.com

Actually the DVs look like they're more comfy as the heels a bit bigger than the YSLs but apart from that can't see abig difference

I agree, the DVs do look more comfy.

Hi, I applaud your blog for informing people, very interesting article, keep up it coming :)

They both look the same but unless you live in LA or NYC, no one will ever take loads of notice whether they are YSLs or DVs cuz they look the same. Even Bakers Shoe store has a similar style but the arch is a lot lower. It retails for $80 and the style is called DIXY. The shoe just made its appearance this weekend at my malls.
