Here is the first of many interview, of our favorite bloggers, writers, fashinonistas, budgetistas stylists, online friends that were sweet enough to answer to a list of my very random questions – in hopes of keeping the blogging spirit alive and as a way of highlighting some of the amazing people and their works on the internet.
For all the questions you’ve wanted answers to, but were just too out-of-place to ask, all the questions you never even thought of asking too; you’ll smile, you might even laugh, but I really hope that you’ll be inspired to do what makes you come alive.

1. What’s your Sunday morning routine?
It usually includes coffee with friends or brunch at my favorite spots like Dumont or Walter Foods in Brooklyn. I have a favorite coffee shop that my friend Dana and I always meet up at called El Beit. Their muffins and lattes are delicious.

I love anything by Tom Robbins, Murakami, or Bukowski. However one of my all time favorite books is Still Life with Woodpecker. I read it while traveling through Spain and sometimes just couldn’t put it down.
3. Fulfilled any New Years Eve resolutions yet?
I promised myself I would document my life more by taking photos of everything including new friends, my shows, and the places I hang out. So far I am trying to carry my camera everywhere.

Shoulder pads are coming back into fashion?
Last year we saw Balenciaga bring back some serious attention to the shoulders with the sexy structured shoulder pad enhanced dresses and blouses. And now – it seems – everyone has been following suit.
I don’t know weather to be in awe or gasp!
I’m kidding, of course because I was too young back in the eighties to have a bad after taste from padded shoulder women suits I’m actually embracing this as a fashion challenge!
So even though I hate taking pictures of myself, I’ll try to post of photo or two wearing something with padded shoulders (when I get it – have to hit up my favorite Thrift Shop in Le Marais).
Because, as we all know : Life is for living , and fashion is simply for trying.

William Rast – looks vaguely like patches of Isabel Marant and G Star Raw. Doesn’t it?

Marc Jacobs – makes me think of Amy Winehouse meets Battlestar Galactia.

Oh Donna Karen , sigh – oh how my heart would love to walk out of my favorite resturant on a chilly Saturday date night with the hubby in this.

I’m very impressed by Hutson’s Ready to Wear, Fall 2009 season at New York Fashion Week, its definitely one of the best of the week.
I swear I wore this exact outfit last Monday to work! Except I wore gray booties and the top was H&M and the pants Zara – but the styling was dead on!
Since being in Paris I’ve learned an artful appreciation for black on black, being a New York Girl I was always madly in love with colors; from soft pastels to vivid brigts.
Living in Paris has placed my emphasis on style more on being elegantly subtle in a way that is effortless and doesn’t make you stand out.
Attention is placed more on the tailoring and qaullity of your clothes than on its uniqueness, or effect to make you an individual.
It’s interesting how life in Paris as contrast with life in New York , reflects the same thing as Fashion in Paris contrsted with Fashion in New York : Paris is purposefully elegantly slow and suble, while New York is purposlefuly chic fast and bold.
Paris is about bleing in.
New York is about standing out.

My sexy side is really embracing this look. What about you?
I want this skirt! – or is it a dress? Those shoes look uncomfortable as hell, she looks like she’s mad at the photographer.
