I found this “cute” etsy store last night online while surfing the net at 2AM.
Long story; I woke up to feed my baby and couldn’t seem to get back to sleep – it was just one of those nights where my mind was just wondering all over the place.
Alas I headed over to one of my favorite design blogs, which by the way has a new awesome look, Decor8 for some late night inspiration. While reading I had clicked through a link that led me to the FredFlare site, which I had totally forgotten about, but is one of those online retailers that you’d love to window surf because of all the fun stuff. You know like that hamburger phone from Juno.
Anyways this is how I onto Etsy.com, can’t quite remember how I got there, but you know these things go, but boy was I glad to find this LaOtra store! Really pristine vintage dresses and tops, for cheap! I’m also seduced by the little stories she writes up to go along as product description. they are so different, poetic and romantic!
I would like to do an Etsy feature now at least once a week on the blog, because of all the good stuff I found, that I know you’d love too.
So lets kick off the first of many good finds with the little etsy shop by LaOtra. Here’s some of her stuff.

I’m loving the sale going on over at ASOS.com, they have Patrizia Pepe shoes on sale and my poor heart be still!
The semi-annual Paris sale ends two days from now and I was kinda getting depressed that I didn’t see anything in my size that I liked on sale – but oh thank goodness for internet shopping and ASOS.

I’ve been trying (desperately I might add) to get my hands on, or should i say, body into a killer jumpsuit for summer, and to no freaking avail! Everything I’ve seen has either been all black( i want something colorful) or too expensive ( not willing to spend over 200 Euro, no thanks).
But this sexy pretty thing here from Topshop has me daydreaming. Its my two favorites things, colorful and inexpensive, and did I mention that it’s silk!
If you know where I can find more or similar jumpsuits please leave me a comment let me know. I think they are a perfect summers item to transition into the fall. Don’t you?

Yesterday I was walking down the street, actually kinda running, rushing, trying not to be late ( like I always am) to my 3pm meeting, it was 2:50pm and it normally takes me at least 15 minutes to get to Belleville from where I live by train. Anyways, while inhaling on some fresh Paris-in-the-summer-time air, a passing older ( like late 50s) french man made a comment that was so unexpected ( well to me – apparently it was quite obvious to him what type of person I was) , he said in French and I’m translating here but I’m pretty sure this is what he meant ” Are you even wearing underwear, you Slut?”
Four reasons why i chose to skip on by this fool, instead of later having to explain to the police why this man is KO on the sidewalk.
1. I was completely caught off guard by his grandfather like appearance.
2. I was in a rush
3. It would just take too much to reply ( in french) to a drunk old man.
4. and By the way I was wearing underwear! So at first I just brushed it off as another crazy french man talking to himself – but when i turned around funnily enough he was still looking at me!
so my question to you is: What does a Slut dress like? And does the picture of me below fit that definition? Leave your comments.
