Its Goodbye to Jane Magazine

Category : Uncategorized

Another one bites the dust! Conde Nast is ripping Jane Magazine from the stands and out of your hands ( that rhymed …lol)

OMG! What is really happening in the world of US publishing if a young funky magazine like Jane can’t stay a float in the competitive world of womens magazine? Joining the ranks of …well, I’ve forgotten already, but all the other mags that got pulled last year, including Elle Girl.

Anyways, this may be sad for some people to hear, but all is I can say is “Thank Gawd, it not Lucky Magazine!!” I’d seriously have a Mini-demonstration/Hunger Strike (hmm- the later I’d have to coach myself into, starving for fashion has never been my deal, but desperate times call for desperate measures) outside the Conde Nast headquarters!

“We worked diligently to make Jane a success. However, we have come to believe that the magazine and Web site will not fulfill our long-term business expectations,” Conde Nast Publications Chief Executive Charles Townsend said in a statement.

Where have all the JANE girls gone? They probably left the readership when the founder Jane Pratt left in 2005.

Whew, BYE BYE JANE!

If you (sorta) liked Jane you might like:

Lucky

Missbehave

and…fill me in, let me know what you read!

Missing you…

I know it’s really been a long long time, but I still get the yearning to write a line or two about fashion.
Thing is I’ve been really sick and you know pain interferes with concentration, so I couldn’t really keep up writing diddly squat on my blog( even though I so badly wanted to).

So anyways, I’m feeling great now and all and cant wait to get back on track to dishing whats hot, whats on sale and what should go back to the drawing board( or simply remain on the catwalks).
Thanks for all the emails and to those people who have kept on reading my blog though this time, I LOVE YAH! :) I really do.

Lets get ready to take TooCute back!
