CUTE FIND OF THE DAY: Polyvore’s online wardrobe

Somehow the fashion gods sent these people to me! Oh thank heavens for Myspace friends..:)
So, here’s the deal. It’s a website that allows you to create outfits online, from various sources, to create a complete look. And what’s also cool is that you can see what other people are creating too.
Great social (window) shopping, especially if you’re trying to curb your urge to be a ruthless shopper…like me. You know I thinks it’s like the nicotine patch for people who addicted to smoking: you can use it to stop the addiction or wean off slowly, or just …oh heck…you’re probably reading this from the cubicle of your office, with documents scattered on your table trying to trick the boss that you’re busy on that project that was due, like, 2 days ago while all you can really think about is how you’re going to nab those cute patent Marc Jacobs shoes at Barneys you’ve been dreaming about (or maybe that’s just me).

Regardless, check them out, they are really cute and I think for all the online shoppers (and window shoppers who make the purchases in the store afterwards) you might get addicted.

Check out this outfit i created from clothes I liked at Old Navy and wanted to see how it would look complete.

Peace, fashion and happiness!

Turquoise: Not felling blue

I really love my latest jewelry creations and I wanted to share them with you all, because I haven’t made anything in a really long time, so I’m glad the creative juices are flowing again! They’re really easy to make and I just love how turquoise can energize a look. All you need is gold wire, chain, links and turquoise stones for pendants and earrings (can get at your local bead shop, or even online retailers). Give me your opinion, love it or hate it, waddyah think?

CUTE FIND OF THE DAY: Origami clutch

These are so pretty, cute, and inexpensive. I’m always endorsing sensible shopping practices; with the money we can save we can donate to our favorite cause or charity.
These bags are made from a Philippine fiber called buntal, in bright colors, and also have an attachable bead strap if you want to wear it over the shoulder. On sale for $32.99 at Bamboo Closet

A Spendid Choice

First let me apologize for not blogging, in like, 3 days, minor computer problems that are now fixed (yea!). Please keep reading and coming back for more cute finds and my random fashion rants.
Secondly, I know I feel a sense of duty to say that since I’ve been vegging out on so much TV lately (this weekend, I think I’m addicted to reruns of Scrubs and Sex and the City) I actually had a chance to watched an episode of Oprah yesterday and lo and behold she recommended and gave away( it wouldn’t be The Oprah Show, without the free-ness) Splendid comfy stretch pants and tops. Good for all the audience members, but my personal favorites are Splendid dresses, like this one perfect for wearing alone, or with jeans or layering. It’s splendidly comfortable and versatile…
